Glasgow is Scotland's largest city and is well served by international airports and convenient road and rail links. The city is a major tourist destination and has been described as 'the finest specimen of Victorian architecture in Europe'. Glasgow benefits from internationally acclaimed museums and galleries, outstanding shopping and superb bars and restaurants. It is also at the gateway to some of Scotland's most spectacular scenery.

The University of Strathclyde was founded as a place of useful learning, to make higher education available to all, and to combine excellence with relevance. It provides high-quality education to all of its students, regardless of background, inspiring them to develop their abilities to the full. Through excellence in research and scholarship it aims to generate new ideas, knowledge and skills and to create opportunities for individuals and society. We are delighted to invite you to our campus in the centre of Glasgow for ISEC 2005.
